You may not find this terribly enticing if you’re given over 100% to digital marketing.

No question that FaceBook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter YouTube (and all the permutations thereof) are exciting, persuasive, fetching and effective marketing tools. Digital is hot and immediate, and quickly changed, edited, and augmented.  What’s not to like?

Uh….getting noticed in the flood of stimuli for attention?

Here’s the argument for considering the alternative:  what’s different, gets noticed.

Sometimes, retro is different enough to get noticed, even elicit a smile or a little nostalgic twinge.

That’s why several voice actors I know find more than occasional success with postcards.

Quick, inexpensive, easy, personal…something you hold in your hands.

I ran across a little service the other day that is a sort of intriguing mix between digital/postal, that may be just what you’re looking for:  TOUCHNOTE. Apple Google.

Touchnote lets you choose any pic from anywhere (best used from a smartphone, honestly), customize the message (font, size, color, etc.), add an address…even customize the stamp with your own face if you like, and send it out pronto!  In signing up, they will even throw a few freebies your way for starters.

You and I will both get a price-break (25% off your first year) if you decide to use TouchNote and include this promocode:  DAVEMVGO. (again, best linked-to on a smartphone)

If for some reason that’s confusing, just send me your email at [email protected], and I’ll send you a personal email invitation.

Good luck with the digital alternative!
