This is why I almost never make New Year’s resolutions.
Oh, I make GOALS…but I don’t need a new year to prompt me.
And even then, goals aren’t all they’re cracked up to be.
Why do I say that?
Because I believe you do not rise to the level of your goals, you fall to the level of your process.
Your goal is to ______________ (be a successful voice actor)?
Your process and system is your vehicle.
For that reason, I tend to linger on creative, and functional systems that I know are designed for the way I work, my strengths, and my limits. And I look at my goals every once in a while to make sure my vehicle is still steering in the right direction.
I wrote about this a couple of years ago, and you may want to revisit 7 PROCESSES TO SUCCESS.
You got this!!!!
