The Big Squeeze

The way I see it only coders and health care professionals have a solid employment outlook.

I’d hate to be a photographer these days.  Everybody thinks they’re an Annie Leibowitz with their smart phone anymore.

Authors/writers…same thing.  Decent English, grammar, punctuation is out the window with texting.  They don’t even teach cursive in schools today.

Truckers?  No better.  The way Tesla and other automakers are heading, 18-wheelers are all going to be driverless within years.

Who needs an web author when you have WIX?

I could go on and on.

Are voice actors on that list?

We’ve talked about the incursion of synthetic voices here on the blog many times. (just search the word synthetic by clicking on the magnifying glass icon in the upper right of this page to check ’em out)

But then the other day, I saw this:

Hold the phone, Nellie!

Yes, you’re seeing that right….no narrator!

That’s an actual screen grab from a website that promises to be the new way to make explainer videos in a snap.

‘Don’t believe me?  Then just hop on over to FLEEQ and take a look.

I’m thinking there stil might be time for me to train as a respiratory therapist.
