Yes.  This is what it’s come to.

Gimmicks.

To get noticed in all the noise, you have to be d̸̲͍͈͙̰̭̰̬̱̻̩͕͓̣̑̒í̶͓͕͑́͒̉͌͘f̸͓̠̈́̀̂́͑͗̄̅̚̚̚͝f̴̢͖̝̬͓͓̹͓̲̏̆̚e̷̡̙̠̻̰̤̣̥̮͖̹͙̯͉͔̒͘͠ŗ̷̧̼̉̇e̸̱̖͌̀͒̄̀̂̅͑͌͐͑̑̀̕̕n̵̛̛̛̺̟̬͓̥̾̏̌̽̅̔̿͂̀̓̈́̍ţ̵̧̘̩̜̣̟̬̊̈̆̏̄̂̈̊̊͗̅̂̑̕.

‘Something to catch the eye.

Sometimes gimmicks really work.  Sometimes not.

This one may have people thinking their computer or smartphone is glitching…or it may be just enough of a trick in your marketing to get people to pause and read further.

Predictably, this free online tool is called GLITCH TEXT GENERATOR.  It even has a slider to let you control the “craziness level”.

I read about it in an article describing hacks that will get you noticed.

For instance, your LinkedIn Profile is notoriously impossible to hack.  But this thing actually works.  Problem is, LI recognizes all those little artifacts as characters, and there’s a 190-character limit in your LI profile.

Keep your LI profile description short…and it works great.

But beyond LinkedIn, (and used sparingly) this can be a decided attention-getter.

I plan to use it on my next prospect emailer.

Have a great weekend!
