OK, I admit it, I’m totally biased about WoVO. Of course I am. I’m a founder and the current president.
With over 800 members, World-Voices Organization is now more than just a cozy little group of like-minded souls. It’s a movement. A movement about to celebrate its 5th year of operation with its 4th annual conference: WoVOCon.
Like all the other WoVO gatherings, WoVOCon IV will be in Las Vegas, NV where we are a legally formed LLC. Like the last two, the event coordinator is Dustin Ebaugh (past president), and I gotta tellya, Ebaugh is hitting his stride with #4. We’ll be at the Tropicana again, but the rooms will be bigger, more of them, and from top to bottom, the schedule, the food, and the accommodations are better than last year. Ebaugh is getting in good with the convention staff at “The Trop”, and we’re having some nice favors done for us.
The “13” mention in the title of this blog refers to the number of days left to register. Sorry, you’ve already missed the early-bird pricing. And you have until the 22nd of this month to take advantage of the late registration pricing: $399. Yes, you’ll have to make your travel arrangements also, and pay for a room (low low WoVO group rate)…but even with all THAT, the return on investment for this conference is through the roof! I mean it.
Just think about it. Let’s say your total cost is $1,000 for everything. That’s a nice mic. That’s less than half the cost of a demo produced by LA’s top guy. It’s about what it would be to engage any of a handful of top coaches for a full curriculum. It’s a really nice suit. You spend that much on fast food in a year. Give up golf for 6 months. I could go on.
From Friday through Sunday, June 23rd – 25th, we’re going to pack your head with so much helpful information, profound relationships, excellent cuisine, and meaningful hallway conversations that you can’t afford NOT to go. The karaoke alone will be worth the trip!

Almost all the WoVO founders and board members will be there. You’ll also get a chance to meet our new Executive Director, Maggie Galloway. Heck, I haven’t even met her in person yet!
Need more? OK, I’m gonna say it. YOU DESERVE A VEGAS VACATION. Even if you get totally bored with all these VO geeks, you can walk, yes, walk to any of 30 stunning Vegas shows just down the street.
You could even walk to the location where the new Las Vegas Raiders Stadium will be built. Or you can walk to where the NHL Vegas Golden Knights will begin their season this fall.
But let’s face it, your best (ahem) bet while you’re in Las Vegas is to cash in on the jackpot of being with your fellow voice actors for 3 days of incredible mind-bending informational payouts!
