RealTraps Portable Vocal Booth

Maybe you’ve already heard about this. I hadn’t…so here’s the link to what appears to be professionally-designed portable sound dampening system for setting up anywhere on-the-fly.

Retail on this puppy is $300.

I’d like to see how it compares to Harlan Hogan’s Porta-Booth, or the Pocket SoundBooth.

Anybody tested this set-up?

Added this exact unit to my studio a few years ago. . Perfect. The best hundred bucks you will ever spend. Although much larger than Harlan’s Porta-booth, it will travel well.

      Just $100..???

The current retail is $300…that’s a pretty big hike!!!

Yes, I believe Mark was mistaken about the price, I don’t think it was ever $100. RealTraps products are excellent, I’ve installed their Micro and Mini Traps in a studio in Los Angeles with great results. I can’t see one traveling with this thing, though. If you had a fullsize suit case you could break it down flat, I suppose. The Portabooth Pro still rules for that sorta thing.
