Isn’t it lousy that we can’t get hardware vendors to recognize and market to voice-actors exclusively? I guess it’s because they just don’t think voice actors constitute a big enough market. Instead we see all sorts of reviews for musicians, engineers, singers, studios, etc.
That doesn’t mean we can’t take advantage of the stuff being published out there that impacts our VO business.
Take for instance, Electronic Musician’s latest issue which includes a great article on “A Musician’s Guide to Affordable Headphones“.
I know this is not of earth-shattering concern. Some people wear “cans”, some don’t, and some wear ’em half-on-half-off. Still, they do come in handy while editing soundfiles if nothing else.
I hope this review gives you some perspective on the latest… just substitute “voice actor” for any mention of the word “musician”.
