MEMORIAL DAY 2015

My father was born in 1915 … 100 years ago
He survived WWII,
married his sweetheart,
became an Illinois farmer,
and if he was here today, I’d call him
and tell him how proud of him I am,
…just like I did every year.

Though I’m always spoiled for choice where your blogs are concerned, THIS is without a doubt my all time favorite. I’m still choked-up. You’re a gem, CourVO. 🙂

      Deb,

That was so sweet of you to say! I figure, once a year it’s not too much to offer a little acknowledgement to those who have gone before with honor.

      Thanks!
