Back in May of 2010, I sat down to my computer in the wee hours of the night and wondered what the heck I was gonna blog about that day.
Just then, that gene decided to express itself. You know…the one that often makes me feel fulfilled when I make a LIST of something.
What I came up with at 3am, was a list of 50+ Royalty-Free Music Sites. It’s by far the MOST VISITED blog article I’ve ever written. Honestly, I don’t hardly ever need music for the auditions and productions I edit, but when I do…it’s nice to have a long and confirmed (vetted) list to choose from.
Apparently, Google has been nice to me when people do a search for this, and I’ve had to constantly update the list with even more great royalty-free sites, usually made known to me by the authors of the site who also want to be listed in my blog article.
Yesterday I got two more, and one of them had an offer, he said, for my readers:
I have a new motivational track entitled “The Waterfall” I’d like to offer your readers 🙂 Thanks for listening !
Cheers! Wesley

Another person wrote to say they liked my blog (OK, a little flattery will get you anywhere)…and she, too hoped to be added to my list. Here’s what she said:
Hi Dave,
I really love your blog and I would love if you can feature my company on yohur blog one of these days!
Here’s basic info on my music licensing company. (See below)
It’s not quite a royalty free company but our content is in my opinion way better..
Don’t hesitate to call me directly if needed.
Cheers and keep up the good work!

I’ve added both these sources to the list you’ll find on that original blog from May of 2010.
I’ll be honest, I have not confirmed their claims on either of these sites, so I guess I’m being a trusting soul…their comment just had the right vibe, I guess.
