Prndl The venerable decades-old acronym on your car's steering column is a metaphor for being a freelance voice-acting success.

Sure, the letters originally stood for Park, Reverse, Neutral, Drive and Low… but not anymore.

Now, when I look down at my dashbord, I'm reminded of the five words that will make me a voiceover success…if I but follow the forumula.

P = Practice….and practice and practice…no matter how good I THINK I've gotten

R= Reach out to others for help and to give help.  Get Coaching, give mentoring.

N= Never give up in the face of disappointment.  Rejection only hardens my resolve.

D= Dive into new challenges — right brain & left brain

L= Leave a trail of excellence and integrity.

Now turn on the ignition and get going!
