Room for a Conscience in Voice Acting?

Would you voice copy with a lot of cuss-words?
Do you accept a job doing a spot for a political candidate you oppose?
You've just been handed a job as one voice in a dialogue promoting a brothel.  Do you accept?

I've seen  lively debates on both sides of this issue.
One side says: "it's just a job, and I'm an actor, after all…the content shouldn't concern me."
The other side says:  "At the end of the day all I have is my own integrity.  If I accept this job that compromises my beliefs, I degrade myself."

I'm not here to pass judgement one way or the other, but click HERE to read the story of a voice actor who turned down a lucrative job for the latter argument.  It takes guts.
