From this moment through Sunday evening, my challenge will be to blog on the road, as so many of us do. I'll be visiting the family farm I inherited with my two sisters in Southern Illinois, and seeing my oldest daughter, too…who is at the University of Illinois.
There is no internet connection on the farm. The public library in town has computers, though, and I can blog to TypePad by phone. And of course the ubiquitous airport wi-fi's.
I've also been assured I'll be getting a job in the next day or two (of course! This always happens when you have to travel!), which is good… just a distraction from this mini-vacation.
The pic was taken about 10 days ago up at Mt. Charleston, just outside Las Vegas (2nd highest point in Nevada). I love it when the Aspens change.
'Better take my respite now…when I get back the election season gets carzy, and November is ratings! Yay!
