Loved the video. 1 time on a previous video someone had commented they didn’t understand why there was no VO. Well my theory is that since your blogs are learning “modules” as VO artists we add our own Vo as we are reading each caption. That’s really great from an educational stand point, free training! Thank you for your continued insights, the time involved is not trivial. I do have to add that you are utilizing the Learning Pyramid ( http://thepeakperformancecenter.com/educational-learning/learning/principles-of-learning/learning-pyramid/) so are also benefiting yourself in an excellent way. I read your emailed blog with anticipation and joy, thank you
Thanks for commenting with that analysis. That actually never occurred to me, but I’ll accept that as a great justification!
I’ll also have to check out the link on the Learning Pyramid, too…thanks for that. Read my reply to Helen Moore-Gillon as to why I don’t necessarily feel I have to put a voice track on my video.
Helen,
Thanks for your comment. I often hear that sentiment when I send out video without my voice. I liken it to video producers who do podcasts. Where’s the video? (heh)
Thanks Dave. Been enjoying your blogs even when they are reminders to hunker down during the slow times that there are no slow times. That’s time to do more in other areas of our business. Thought of a blog you wrote earlier this week while watching an amazing video of a horse race where a 10 year horse ( experience) was so far in last place he must have done something right to change up his tactics for such a come from behind win. Really just a win for himself. Not over others. More solid wisdom from you as always from you.
