Ft. Worth is the less-well-known half of the Dallas metroplex…and it’s been the home of my middle daughter for the last 8 years.
First, as a D-1 Student Athlete at TCU, then a candidate for Physician Assistant at North Texas State’s Health Science Center, also in Fort Worth.
This weekend she graduated. 3 years of intense cram-down-your-throat, barely-get-a-break training, with even a month-long rotation in Malawi, Africa.
If you’re a parent, you know the boundless pride you feel when a child finds success…is happy…does well.
It doesn’t last of course. Now there’s life, and a career, and her whole future.
But for this moment, this weekend…today…I can be the proud papa, and she the happy grad.
Well done Madeleine!
