My wife tells me it’s Tuesday as I’m writing this. (1:04am PST)
It feels more like Thursday.
I spent 12 hours of the first 24 after the Mandalay Bay shooting, in the anchor chair.
‘Mentally, emotionally, and physically drained, but my family is safe..I’m still breathing air, and am above ground. Lots to be thankful for.
I’ll have more thoughts about the Las Vegas ordeal later this week.
Many heartfelt thanks to those who reached out to check on my welfare, and offer support.
Blessings,
Dave Courvoisier
Much like our Voiceover Family, and our American family as a whole, Dave, I’m completely crestfallen and dumbfounded by this horrific event. God love you, standing strong to represent and speak for our Las Vegas Family, when so few truly have the words. I pray we ultimately make sense of the senseless. But mostly I pray for strength, peace and justice (if that’s possible) for those directly touched by this crushing experience. Get some rest, my friend. Your strength will be needed to speak for those who are unable to do so. Godspeed! You’ll continue to be in my warmest thoughts and prayers! Wishing you peace. Now and always.
Kate,
Your comments came at a time when I needed them most. Bless you for caring enough to write them!

So happy you and yours are safe. Heartfelt sympathies are with the victims and their families.
Thanks for writing, Frank… you words count more than you know!

So glad you are ok! Thankfully my mom was home in Summerlin that night
