Brent was smart. He got out of TV news several years ago.
He’s been my friend since 1985, and we never lost touch.
Now, he’s his own video freelance videographer/producer…and he’s good: creative… innovative… and a crack writer.
But to do really good documentaries, you need a decent narrator, right?
Ahem.
Luckily he remembered that I’d been “dabbling” in voice work. Could please narrate this half-hour special? Oh, and can you voice the promo for it too?
Not all relationships are going to bear this kind of fruit. I’ve met a zillion people in 37 years of TV, and I can only remember a few by name, and even fewer do I have contact info for.
But the good ones you keep, right?
Sometimes it all works out.
