I wish I could tell you how many copies I’ve sold. I haven’t figured out how to do that yet. It doesn’t matter. I didn’t expect to make back my investment. It was never a money-making venture. I’m not going to rehash my motivations here… it’s been a year since I published the book, which is a compilation of my best blog articles, but I wrote the book much as I write my blog…to pay it forward.
It took me practically ANOTHER year to get the work done to make the book into a recording. It was a pure joy recording a book I had written. No pesky author breathing down my neck. No QA to sweat over. I was the Rights Holder, and I approved of all the audio I narrated!
My thanks to Tom Perkins for doing the editing & mastering (masterful job), and to Ann Richardson for referring me to Tom. That was a huge mental hurdle I didn’t want to face. ACX was accommodating in helping me get it approved, and now, here it is…I got word yesterday that it is now available on Audible and Amazon as a recorded audiobook.
This is the newest version of my book, and includes several corrections, additions, and new material not contained in the original printed version. I have since added those improvements to the Kindle version as well.
The Audiobook downloads for $14.95 on Audible. I didn’t set the price, but it seems fair enough to me. I hope you think so too. I’m real proud of it.
